Atlassian Product Administrator

Overview

As Atlassian Product Administrator you will lead and shape the Confluence and JIRA strategy for a high-profile fintech client. You will manage day-to-day Atlassian administration, upgrades, and integrations, driving process improvements and reporting capabilities. You’ll act as the technical authority on Atlassian tools, delivering trainings and ensuring excellent client service. This role sits within a fast-moving, modern AWS-based infrastructure and offers visibility across teams and projects. You will contribute to impactful projects that disrupt the wealth management space.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Confluence and JIRA strategy and provide thought leadership
• Admin JIRA, Confluence and Mavenlink incl. projects, workflows, security schemes, custom fields, dashboards, reports
• Lead JIRA/Confluence upgrades, coordinate maintenance and performance tuning with hosting partner
• Install, manage and update Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensions
• Configure XML for JIRA integrations (e.g., GitHub) as needed
• Gather requirements and optimize JIRA/Confluence workflows and processes
• Serve as Technical Authority for Atlassian tooling within the company
• Conduct training for employees and new hires on JIRA and Confluence

Key requirements

• Expert level JIRA and Atlassian tool suite administration
• Proficiency in XML
• Experience with hosted/remotely co-located environments
• Experience installing/updating JIRA plugins (Atlassian SDK a plus)
• Experience as a JIRA Administrator with customized projects
• Proficiency in Project Setups, Components, JIRA Reporting, Filters and Dashboards
