Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will drive growth in the corporate wellness market by building strategic mid-market partnerships and selling preventative health solutions. You’ll own the full sales cycle, collaborate with HR and wellbeing stakeholders, and shape the go-to-market approach for the corporate sector. You’ll operate in a fast-growing scale-up, delivering measurable ROI for clients and helping scale the commercial function. This role offers meaningful impact on employee wellbeing and health equity at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for mid-market corporate accounts (prospecting to close)
  • Target enterprise accounts with 1,000+ employees
  • Develop and execute strategies to win 25k-50k+ deals
  • Manage 3–6 month sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Build partnerships with clear ROI for corporate wellness programmes
  • Engage HR, Rewards & Benefits, and Wellbeing decision-makers
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes
  • Present business cases aligned with corporate health priorities
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate qualified leads and provide market feedback
  • Contribute to sales processes, playbooks, and best practices
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights
  • Help shape the go-to-market strategy for the corporate sector
  • Share learnings to support scaling of the commercial function

Key requirements

  • 3–5 years in B2B sales with proven success in corporate wellness, HR, or employee benefits
  • Track record of closing 25k-50k+ deals with mid-market companies
  • Experience managing 3–6 month sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of corporate wellness, employee benefits, or preventative health
  • Consultative sales approach with evidence of sales methodology (e.g. MEDDICC)
  • Process-driven mindset with collaborative spirit and commercial flair
  • Comfortable in scale-up environments with multi-hat roles
