Overview

In this role you support fabric maintenance for offshore projects, coordinating surveys, planning, and QA/QC under the Operations Manager. You provide specialist guidance on blasting/painting, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You act as a technical authority and mentor for offshore teams, driving continuous improvement in coatings and corrosion management. This position offers hands-on technical leadership within Bilfinger’s offshore maintenance ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of contract fabric maintenance delivery under their control
  • Liaise with Client and Project Engineers regarding scope and planning
  • Review timesheet data, update trackers, and plan activities
  • Conduct offshore visits and surveys/audits for fabric maintenance
  • Monitor progress and costs against plan and budget
  • Prepare pre-mob and scope briefings for offshore teams; manage HR issues
  • Create work packs/method statements/job cards for offshore work
  • Maintain and report on Corrosion Damage Report Database and trackers
  • Stand in for asset project engineers during absences
  • Provide technical guidance on safety, quality and compliance in Blasting/Painting
