Overview

In this role you will join a leading Edinburgh Energy & Infrastructure Finance team, focusing on high-value energy project and finance work. You will build and sustain relationships with a diverse client base and collaborate within an international team to win opportunities. You’ll work on cross-border matters and contribute to strategic campaigns and product development. This is a client-facing, transactional role in a dynamic, sector-focused practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and pursue new opportunities
• Collaborate within an international team and contribute to cross-border matters
• Engage in campaigns and help develop firm products and offerings
• Manage high-value energy project and finance transactions and advisory work
• Maintain strong client contact and deliver commercial, technically sound advice
• Support business development efforts and pitch for new work

Key requirements

• 2-5 years PQE in energy finance/infra in a large commercial law firm
• Experience in energy practice with transaction exposure
• Strong technical capability and commercial judgment
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication
• Team player with ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment
