Chartered Building Surveyor – Technical Due Diligence Lead (Associate/Director Level)

Overview

As a Specialist Technical Due Diligence Chartered Building Surveyor, you will lead TDD projects across the UK and Europe and drive the strategy for this consultancy’s TDD offering. You will manage major instructions, nurture client relationships, and contribute to thought leadership and market positioning. This role combines technical leadership with business development to grow the TDD service line toward partner-level progression. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to uphold high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level TDD projects in the UK & Europe to a high standard
• Develop and implement a TDD strategy for the consultancy
• Lead business development and client relationship management
• Produce thought leadership pieces for industry press
• Develop and expand the TDD service line
• Lead internal quality assurance and best-practice templates
• Coordinate with external stakeholders (e.g., RICS) on guidance notes and articles
• Manage the Transactional Services team and sub-consultants
• Support asset acquisition/disposal decisions and issue resolution from TDD findings
• Travel across the UK and Europe as required

Key requirements

• MRICS with minimum 10 years PQE
• Degree in Building Surveying
• Proven track record delivering TDD in London and South East England
• Strong report-writing and QA capabilities
• Ability to meet fee targets and generate new business
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage client expectations
