Senior Product Analyst – FinCrime

Overview

As a Senior Product Analyst at Wise, you enable data-driven decisions for financial crime and risk teams while preserving a smooth customer experience. You partner with product managers, engineers and operations to turn analytics into actionable improvements across onboarding, screening and transaction monitoring. You will help drive growth decisions within a robust risk framework and contribute to a large analytics community. This role offers cross-team collaboration, visibility into Wise’s mission to make money accessible for everyone, everywhere.

Responsibilities

• Make data accessible and actionable for non-analysts across the organization
• Own and track key metrics, ensuring accountability quarter over quarter
• Build and maintain data pipelines and create reports and visualizations
• Conduct discovery analyses to identify opportunities to improve controls and user experience
• Communicate insights to stakeholders to drive real changes for customers
• Collaborate with product, engineering and ops teams on cross-functional projects

Key requirements

• Strong quantitative skills with a background in a science or analytical field
• Experience with SQL, Python/R, and ideally dbt, plus building data pipelines
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate insights into simple narratives
• Ability to structure business problems with minimal supervision and prioritize independently
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results beyond analysis; execution mindset
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) and data storytelling
• Minimum 3 years of professional data analytics experience
