As Chief Finance Officer you will lead finance and procurement within the Trust, safeguarding financial health and delivering the financial plan to meet strategic objectives. You will sit on the Executive Leadership Team and collaborate across the Trust to drive financial performance and improvement. The role challenges you to manage budgeting, risk, and stakeholder communications at a trusted governance level. Responsibilities
- Accountable for the Trust’s financial health and long-term viability
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting and risk management
- Lead procurement strategy and commercial activities
- Direct and develop finance teams to enhance performance
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate financial strategy and performance
- Support organisational improvement and strategic governance
Key requirements
- Significant senior finance leadership experience in a complex organisation
- Expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Strong commercial and procurement experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver organisational improvement
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
