Senior Procurement Consultant

Overview

In this role you will provide specialist procurement strategy and end-to-end procurement services for major public and private sector projects. You will work within the growing Contract Services team to shape procurement solutions, support business development, and help deliver strategic targets. The role offers exposure to flagship programmes, sustainable and digital procurement initiatives, and opportunities to travel with blue-chip clients. You will operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment focused on value, delivery, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
• Lead or co-lead end-to-end procurement services for major projects or programmes
• Support development of procurement services offered by Turner & Townsend
• Assist business development and marketing of the Contract Services proposition
• Support delivery of team and wider business targets
• Assist bid preparation and proposal documentation to enhance work-winning capability

Key requirements

• Experience leading or supporting strategic procurement projects
• Strong background in tender preparation and documentation
• Experience in supplier engagement from market engagement to award
• Cross-sector exposure to Public/Utilities Contract Regulations or equivalent
• Experience with NEC and JCT contract forms
• MCIPs accreditation in progress or achieved
• Degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement (preferred)
• Security Clearance (SC) current or restorable (preferred)
