HR Operations Specialist – Europe/IMEA

Overview

In this role you will orchestrate smooth HR processes across the employee lifecycle, focusing on data integrity, onboarding and offboarding, and benefits and payroll support. You will serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and collaborate with global partners to implement HR initiatives. The position sits at the intersection of HR operations and people experience, enabling accurate data, efficient processes, and a positive new-hire journey. This is a globally oriented role that supports Brown-Forman’s people-centered mission. You drive impact by ensuring precise systems data and a seamless employee experience from day one.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve HR-initiated Workday processes
• Support reorganizations and HR initiatives
• Audit Workday data for accuracy
• Manage onboarding: contracts, hire data accuracy, pre-onboarding, orientation
• Manage offboarding: exit interviews, paperwork, final pay and benefits support
• Serve as first point of contact for HR inquiries (payroll, leave, verifications, policy interpretation)
• Provide timely information and escalate complex issues
• Assist benefits programs including health insurance and retirement plans
• Ensure payroll data in Workday is current and accurate
• Act as liaison between employees and HR/payroll teams

Key requirements

• 2+ years in an HR generalist, analyst or operations role
• Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with multi-tasking ability
• Ability to collaborate with global partners across time zones
• Strong verbal and written English communication
