In this role you support a busy Real Estate team in Cardiff, handling high-quality commercial property matters for a diverse client base. You will work with senior fee earners, manage your own matters, and contribute to business development while delivering excellent client service. Responsibilities

  • Supporting/leading on purchases, sales and acquisitions
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, licences, transfers, deeds and related docs
  • Advising on mixed-use development matters
  • Undertaking due diligence incl. title review, enquiries and searches
  • Liaising with clients, counterpart solicitors and third-party professionals
  • Obtaining indemnity insurance quotes and liaising with brokers
  • Conducting legal research and preparing reports
  • Attending client meetings and all-party discussions
  • Participating in business development and client engagement activities

Key requirements

  • 1-5 years PQE in commercial property or real estate
  • Experience at a reputable national or regional firm
  • Strong technical competence and a commercial approach
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex matters
  • Confidence, professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a busy team
