Overview
In this role you will own European workforce compliance for employees and subcontractors, spanning postings, payroll, social security, immigration and local employment rules. You will support HR, Finance, Payroll and Operations, coordinating with local providers and advisers on international tax and legal matters. This is a broad, impactful position reporting into the Finance Director, with exposure across multiple jurisdictions. You help ensure compliant mobilisation and sustainable cross-border capability while shaping ongoing compliance practices. You will engage with cross-functional teams to manage risk and enable smooth deployments.
Responsibilities
- Manage Posted Worker compliance including registrations and documentation
- Monitor deployments across Europe to identify payroll, tax, social security and PE risks
- Review country-specific employment conditions and collective agreements
- Coordinate international payroll requirements with providers and advisers; review UK/Ireland payroll where applicable
- Oversee A1 applications and host-country social security and subcontractor compliance
- Manage employment permits, visas and right-to-work documentation; renewals and ongoing immigration compliance
- Coordinate responses to labour authority enquiries, inspections and audits
- Maintain European compliance trackers, procedures, records and internal controls; support overseas recruitment and workforce planning
