Overview

As Quality Manager at Carlsberg Britvic, you lead the site quality function to safeguard the integrity of key beverages. You will coach a shiftQualityTechnicians team, drive food safety and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance across manufacturing operations. You’ll tackle complex quality challenges in a fast-paced FMCG environment and shape a strong quality culture. This role offers visibility, impact, and collaboration across functions to maintain brand quality at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the site shift Quality Technicians to foster a high-performing quality culture
  • Provide day-to-day technical and quality support to manufacturing teams ensuring adherence to standards
  • Lead quality and food safety investigations with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation
  • Manage stock hold and release processes per quality and safety requirements
  • Oversee analytical, sensory and proficiency testing programs to maintain product quality
  • Embed and continuously improve GMP, quality systems and food safety requirements
  • Monitor quality KPIs, analyze trends and drive improvement actions
  • Maintain quality control equipment and ensure fit-for-purpose operation
  • Deliver training and capability development to strengthen quality awareness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence

Key requirements

  • Proven people leadership experience with coaching and motivating teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience analysing data, identifying trends and creating action plans
  • Ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of quality, food safety or technical processes in FMCG/manufacturing is advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience resolving issues
  • Collaborative, resilient and improvement-focused mindset
  • FMCG or food manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of quality systems, food safety, microbiology and analytical testing
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems
  • Awareness of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Relevant Science, Engineering or Quality qualifications
