Overview

As a Senior/SRE engineer at Adaptive, you help maintain operational stability for large-scale, customer-critical systems while guiding CI/CD and full system testing. You work with cross-functional teams to deploy reliable cloud services and automate infrastructure. You will improve security, resilience, and monitoring, shaping scalable solutions for our finance-focused clients. Responsibilities

• Guide development teams on CI/CD and end-to-end system testing
• Maintain infrastructure and apply lessons learned to improve practices
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with security policies
• Enhance proactive cloud operations and monitoring
• Design maintenance procedures and runbooks
• Evaluate and implement new technologies
• Automate and standardise deployments to ease operations
• Contribute to best-practice definitions for project installations

Key requirements

• Extensive troubleshooting and coordination skills
• Experience deploying and supporting large-scale, customer-critical systems
• Strong AWS knowledge
• Strong Linux knowledge
• Automation technologies proficiency
• Understanding of common network protocols
• Terraform and cloud automation tools expertise
• Scripting: Python, Bash
• Docker experience
• Experience with stateful services (databases, RAFT clusters)
