Responsibilities
- Lead month-end process for the group and entities
- Oversee year-end close with strong controls and timely reporting; liaise with auditors
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and controls
- Prepare statutory financial statements across group and international entities
- Oversee group tax return preparation and submissions; manage external relationships
- Advise the business on tax compliance and technical guidance to mitigate risk
- Catalyst for finance transformation and process improvement; adopt AI enablement
- Provide leadership within finance; deputise for the CFO with potential progression to direct team management
Key requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience in partnership accounts advantageous
- Ability to own and lead the accounting function; seen as a Senior Leader with path to management
