Overview

As a Manager in Baringa’s Digital Risk & Cyber practice, you will own and deliver complex engagements focused on digital risk, security and resilience. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, shaping approaches and ensuring high-impact outcomes for clients. You’ll build trusted relationships with CISOs and senior stakeholders, driving opportunities from strong delivery to repeat work. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, capability building and technology-enabled risk management, with a strong emphasis on independence and client value.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end workstreams on complex engagements, shaping approach, delivering quality and impact
  • Lead and develop a mixed-level team, coaching and guiding through delivery
  • Develop deep capability in a cyber/digital risk domain and design practical tools and capabilities
  • Act as trusted advisor to CISOs and senior client teams, managing expectations and ensuring delivery
  • Identify and qualify opportunities, shape proposals with Partners/Directors, and secure next engagements
  • Contribute to propositions, firm profile and talent development to create greater client value

Key requirements

  • Strong track record in digital risk, cyber security or resilience in consulting or in-house
  • Delivery and engagement leadership in demanding, client-facing environments
  • People leadership experience with coaching and developing others
  • Client relationship credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and regulatory agenda (CAF, DORA, EU AI Act, UK Cyber Security & Resilience Bill)
  • Technology and AI literacy with ability to advise on AI governance and security
