Finance Business Partner

Overview

As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic financial insight to drive performance and growth in a North London environmental services group. You will collaborate with leaders, deliver data-driven analyses, and shape financial decisions. You’ll own budgeting and forecasting, produce management reports and dashboards, and identify cost savings and process improvements. This role sits at the crossroads of finance and operations, enabling cross-functional impact and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to develop financial and operational strategies aligned with organisational goals
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Challenge and influence business decisions through data-driven insights
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders to enhance financial understanding and accountability
• Prepare and present monthly management reports and dashboards
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, and process optimisation
• Monitor KPIs and recommend actions for improvement
• Support internal and external audit processes as required

Key requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA)
• experience in a commercial finance capacity
• strong evidence of business partnering and managing stakeholders
• excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• ownership of budgeting and forecasting procedures
• experience in a similar industry would be advantageous
