Overview
In this role you will lead site setting-out, QA, and technical oversight on a major Middlesbrough development. You will interface with project managers and design teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure drawings are correctly implemented. You will perform as-built surveys and produce CAD/3D deliverables, maintaining QA records and RAMS compliance. You will coordinate with management and subcontractors to keep the programme on track. A high-rate contract with overtime offers strong earning potential and immediate starts.

Responsibilities
- Setting out and layout using total stations and GPS
- Reviewing drawings, managing RFIs, resolving site discrepancies
- Carrying out QA inspections and maintaining QA records
- Conducting as-built surveys and producing CAD/3D models
- Coordinating with site management and subcontractors to keep programmes on schedule and RAMS compliant
- Ensuring works meet project specifications and quality standards
Key requirements
- Qualifications: Degree, HND or HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- CSCS Card (Manager/Professional or Academically Qualified Person)
- Hands-on proficiency with robotic total stations (Leica, Trimble, Topcon) and GPS
- Proven Site Engineer experience on commercial, civil, or heavy construction projects
- Right to work in the UK
