Overview

In this site-based role, you will manage the 290-bedroom hotel fit-out in London on a three-year programme. You’ll lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with drawings, schedules and quality standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to drive progress, maintain safety, and deliver a high-quality finish. This is an opportunity to shape a high-profile hospitality interior fit-out and demonstrate strong leadership on a large-scale project.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and progress against the programme
  • Coordinate subcontractors and specialist trades
  • Oversee sequencing and interfaces between trades
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure high quality
  • Conduct regular site inspections to drawings and specifications
  • Manage short-term programmes and milestones
  • Identify and resolve site issues to maintain progress
  • Ensure health & safety standards and site procedures
  • Coordinate site logistics, deliveries and access
  • Collaborate with Project Manager, consultants and project team
  • Manage snagging, quality inspections and handover activities
  • Maintain accurate site records and progress reporting

Key requirements

  • Strong experience delivering hotel, hospitality or high-end fit-out projects
  • Experience on large-scale, multi-room hotel schemes (advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and finishing trades
  • Excellent subcontractor and trade management skills
  • Eye for detail and quality
  • Good understanding of construction programmes and sequencing
  • Strong health & safety knowledge
  • Ability to drive progress and maintain high site standards
  • Valid SMSTS – essential
  • Valid First Aid – essential
  • Ability to work site based in London
