Overview
As Regional Sales Manager, Retail, you will drive the Retail vertical in EMEA, aligning with HID’s growth strategy. You will build and convert a regional pipeline, engaging retailers and a partner ecosystem to unlock RFID-enabled inventory visibility and store productivity improvements. You’ll work across product, engineering and marketing to position HID solutions and refine the vertical approach. This role offers hands-on ownership from discovery to revenue, with influence on go-to-market routes and partner-led execution.

Responsibilities
- Own and execute the Retail vertical sales strategy across EMEA in line with BU growth
- Build, nurture and convert pipeline for priority use cases (asset tracking, worker safety, site logistics, infrastructure visibility)
- Engage directly with customers and partners to advance solution-driven opportunities and close deals
- Develop and support a partner ecosystem (system integrators, OEMs, ISVs) in EMEA
- Contribute to routes-to-market, balancing partner-led and direct sales
- Manage opportunities end-to-end with CRM discipline, forecasting and pipeline visibility
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing on solution positioning and market adoption
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to refine the vertical approach
- Represent HID in customer, partner, and industry events within Retail
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or equivalent advantageous
- 5–8+ years of sales or business development in Retail or adjacent markets
- Proven track record in solution-based sales and growth attainment
- Experience with RFID (HF/UHF) and industrial AIDC solutions is a strong advantage
- Experience selling integrated hardware, software and services into workflows
- Hands-on individual contributor capable of managing opportunities from discovery to close
- Experience working with partner ecosystems (systems integrators, OEMs, technology partners)
- Experience engaging multiple stakeholders (operations, engineering, IT, procurement)
- Strong understanding of retail operations (inventory visibility, loss prevention, omnichannel)
- Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, planning and analytical skills
