Cyber and Digital Health Senior Manager

Overview

As Cyber and Digital Health Senior Manager, you will lead complex cyber security engagements across the UK healthcare sector, with emphasis on the NHS and health and social care. You will guide multi-workstream programs, mentor cybersecurity professionals, and shape digital trust strategies to enhance frontline productivity through secure technology. You will build relationships with NHS and health-sector leaders, identify new opportunities, and contribute to NHS-aligned cyber strategy and thought leadership. This role offers impact at scale, driving secure digital transformation in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex cyber strategy engagements and multiple workstreams
• Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring high-quality delivery
• Develop and expand KPMG’s presence in the UK healthcare market (NHS, integrated care systems)
• Engage with key healthcare stakeholders across clinical, governance, and transformation teams
• Identify opportunities, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts
• Support people development, coaching, and a culture of learning
• Contribute to evolving healthcare cyber strategy, NHS-aligned propositions, and thought leadership

Key requirements

• Defining cyber security strategies aligned with business and technology objectives
• Designing and implementing Cyber Security TOMs (people, processes, tech, governance, metrics)
• Creating business cases for cyber investments and securing stakeholder buy-in
• Managing delivery of strategic cyber programs and monitoring outcomes
• Knowledge of DSPT-CAF readiness, NHS frameworks (DSPT-CAF, NCSC CAF) and ISO27001/NIST/GDPR/NIS where applicable
• Advising healthcare organisations on DSPT-CAF readiness, remediation, and assurance across cyber, IG, and resilience domains
• Ability to assess cyber capabilities against threat landscape and risk profile
• Understanding security architecture, governance models, and regulatory requirements in healthcare
