Pre-Sales Consultant, Financial Services

Overview

In this role, you will bridge AlphaSense’s AI-powered platform with financial services workflows to help prospects understand and realize value during evaluations. You will work closely with Account Executives to demonstrate capabilities, uncover use cases, and shape future product direction. You’ll engage with investment professionals across asset management, investment banking, private equity/VC, and hedge funds, driving early adoption and revenue. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role that combines domain expertise with product storytelling to influence outcomes and product bets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTM teams to drive commercial outcomes through product evaluations
• Build and curate financial services use cases by discovering client workflows and pain points
• Foster strong client relationships with investment professionals across levels
• Translate client feedback into product and content improvements and share internally
• Support the identification of new use cases as AlphaSense evolves

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in a Financial Services role or in a fintech/SaaS context with exposure to Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, or Hedge Funds
• Interest in generative AI in financial services and ability to discuss competitive GenAI landscape
• Executive presence with ability to engage stakeholders and explain technical solutions to business audiences
• Autonomy and ownership mindset with track record of driving workflow transformation at large financial firms
• Consultative, articulate, and client-facing communication skills
• Team player with ability to collaborate cross-functionally and distill feedback to GTM, Product, and Content teams
