Overview
As Systems Analysis & Simulation Engineer, you will develop and refine tools to simulate optical Space-to-Ground links and assess network performance. You will create advanced models and analyze large datasets to optimise communication services and support scalable space-enabled networks. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate insights into improved systems and capabilities. This role offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge laser communications technology from an Oxford-based start-up and help shape future global connectivity.
Responsibilities

Key requirements
- At least 3 years’ commercial experience in systems analysis, modelling and/or simulation
- Experience developing complex models and simulations using MATLAB
- Experience developing, testing and analysing empirical datasets
- Strong data processing and analysis skills, including handling large datasets efficiently
- MATLAB and Python programming experience
- Preferred: experience with satellite communications or optical/laser communications
