Overview
As Staff Product Manager for GTPN, you shape the strategy and delivery of our customer‑facing API platform at scale. You will collaborate with engineering, sales and leadership to deliver secure, scalable API products that power global treasury and payments experiences. This high‑impact role involves guiding cross‑functional teams, engaging with customers and partners, and steering data‑driven decisions. You will stay ahead of payments and API trends, leveraging AI where relevant, to drive ongoing innovation.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of GTPN APIs from ideation to delivery and optimization
- Define and champion the platform strategy and roadmap balancing long‑term innovation with short‑term needs
- Engage with enterprise customers, developers, and partners to capture needs and validate features
- Translate complex use cases into scalable, secure APIs with engineering collaboration
- Lead cross‑functional teams (engineering, design, sales, compliance, data science) to deliver solutions
- Apply data‑driven methods to define success metrics, prioritize requirements, and plan launches
- Represent GTPN in strategic discussions with senior stakeholders and partners
- Mentor and lead other product managers with potential for broader leadership
- Monitor industry trends in payments, APIs, and fintech; apply AI/ML where relevant
Key requirements
- 6+ years in product management with at least 3 years on platform/API products in fintech/payments/financial infrastructure
- Proven track record launching scalable API‑driven platforms or products
- Deep understanding of API design, security, and developer experience
- Experience balancing user needs with commercial strategy to drive growth
- Ability to manage long‑term vision vs. short‑term execution
- Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience in data‑driven, cross‑functional, fast‑paced environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
