As an Employment Partner in a newly launched Bristol office, you will shape and grow the regional employment practice within a top national law firm. You’ll leverage the firm’s reputation to attract clients, lead a growing team, and drive cross-office collaboration and business development. This is a strategic leadership role with an emphasis on expanding the Bristol footprint and delivering high-quality employment advisory and litigation services. You will operate in a collaborative, progression-oriented culture that supports ambitious growth.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow the Bristol employment offering within the national firm
• Lead and develop the local team, aligning with cross-office strategy
• Build and deepen client relationships and originate new business
• Drive business development and regional expansion initiatives
• Contribute to workplace investigations, HR consultancy, and related services as part of the wider team

Key requirements

• 10+ years PQE in Employment law
• Significant experience in Employment law practice
• Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and grow a practice
• Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite for regional development
• Excellent technical skills, commerciality, and client service
• Strong interest in business development and cross-office collaboration
