CMMS Associate Engineer

Overview

In this role you will manage and improve maintenance master data within SAP PM to support maintenance, operations, engineering, and projects. You’ll ensure data quality, governance, and effective CMMS usage to enable reliable maintenance planning and execution. You’ll contribute to data improvement initiatives and support the delivery of maintenance excellence across onshore and offshore facilities. This position offers hybrid working, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and opportunities to shape data-driven maintenance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update maintenance master data in SAP PM (asset registers, maintenance plans, task lists, BOMs)
• Ensure data integrity and adherence to governance, standards and procedures
• Perform data quality checks, audits, and validation aligned with local standards
• Support brownfield projects with master data quality assurance and integrity
• Provide CMMS/system support, user guidance, and training to maintenance teams
• Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation activities
• Perform data analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement
• Engage with stakeholders to understand and apply data requirements across disciplines

Key requirements

• Significant experience in a maintenance function within Oil & Gas
• Proven experience managing SAP PM master data (asset registers, maintenance plans, task lists, BOMs)
• Strong understanding of maintenance management principles (planning, scheduling, performance measurement)
• Experience with maintenance KPIs and improvement initiatives
• Data management and analytical skills including advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple disciplines
• CMMS master data management and data governance
• Data quality, audits, and governance experience
