Overview

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for a client portfolio, ensuring quality, delivery and client service on engagements
  • Lead tax advisory projects (including M&A) and coordinate with specialist teams across jurisdictions
  • Develop understanding of clients’ tax data and technologies to improve compliance, reporting and governance
  • Participate in tax audits of major multinationals and resolve technical issues
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their development
  • Collaborate across industries (Financial Services, Consumer, Energy & Resources, Tech/Media/Telecom)
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive culture and align roles with skills and interests

Key requirements

  • ICAS/ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Proven tax experience in industry or professional services
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients and delivering tax services
  • Strong relationship management with UK and international contacts
  • Experience delivering tax advisory projects, including international restructuring and refinancing, transfer pricing and M&A
  • Experience managing deadlines, billing, and coordinating UK and overseas teams
  • Effective communication and project management skills
  • Experience dealing with HM Revenue and Customs on technical matters
