Overview
As Finance Manager, Sales Compensation, you guide governance and policy for global sales compensation and ensure scalable, legally robust policies. You oversee SPIFFs, KPI collection and calculation, and SFDC-driven processes, translating complex rules into actionable guidance for sales leaders. You’ll drive dispute resolution, training, and SOPs, shaping incentives that align with business objectives. This role anchors governance, audit compliance, and strategic enablement across the sales org.

Responsibilities
- Establish global sales compensation policies and governance standards
- Define approval matrices in partnership with Sales, People, and Finance leaders
- Assess, map, and integrate incentive plans during transactions and restructurings
- Oversee collection, validation, and calculation of sales KPIs and SPIFFs
- Manage calculations for custom supplemental incentives with data integrity
- Analyze performance trends and identify optimization opportunities for incentives
- Lead dispute-resolution processes and SLA policies
- Draft SOPs and governance workflows; project manage multi-phase initiatives
- Build interactive training libraries and rollout compensation training for sales teams
Key requirements
- 7+ years of experience in sales compensation, finance governance, audit, or related fields
- Strong governance, policy design, and internal controls background
- Expert in writing clear, legally robust sales compensation policies
- Hands-on proficiency with KPI, SPIFF, and complex incentive calculations
- Experience evaluating and integrating plans during corporate transactions
- Executive presence and negotiation with senior leaders
- Translational communication skills to simplify complex rules
- Salesforce/SFDC proficiency for workflows and dashboards
- Technical writing and digital enablement skills for SOPs and training materials
