Solicitor – Property Damage

Overview

In this role you will manage a portfolio of property-related insurance claims within our Commercial Insurance team. You will handle complex disputes across property damage, product liability, policy coverage and subrogated recoveries, working to client SLAs. You’ll assess risk and justify decisions to clients and internal stakeholders, while prioritising work to maximise efficiency. This is a hybrid position based in London, offering mentoring opportunities and a path to develop in a collaborative, inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of property-related claims
• Understand client requirements and run cases in line with SLAs and best practice
• Analyse risk and justify decisions to clients and internally
• Prioritise work to maximise efficiency in working practices

Key requirements

• 1-4 years PQE within Property Damage or Property Litigations or Subrogated Recoveries
• Experience handling an insurance property-related caseload including TPPD, product liability, policy coverage and subrogated recoveries
• Technical expertise and strong interest in Commercial Insurance matters
• Proven track record delivering results within strict deadlines

• Excellent communication of complex issues to internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated with ability to coach and develop others
• Supportive team player and go-to person for junior members
