Manager, Digital Learning (Systems)

Overview

In this role you will lead the administration and configuration of Bain’s core learning platform, driving the digital learning strategy across the Global Training team. You will partner with technology, data and content teams, manage vendor relationships, and coach others to deliver scalable, high-quality learning experiences. You’ll stay ahead of the learning tech landscape, enable integrations and ensure smooth product updates. This is a pivotal role for expanding Bain’s next-generation digital learning capabilities and supporting global learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and administer learning systems; coordinate tech integrations and upgrades
• Serve as the primary administrator with deep knowledge of LMS and content tech; advise on product goals and roadmap
• Plan, test and implement system updates
• Oversee integrations with AI platforms and Bain systems
• Oversee quality checks, test plans, support processes and learner support
• Advise global training on Springboard direction and process improvements
• Review LMS supplier updates and backlog items
• Manage vendor relationships with external systems and content providers
• Conduct regular account health meetings and business reviews
• Stay current on learning tech landscape and assess relevance to Bain needs
• Troubleshoot issues, review upgrades and engage in renewals
• Lead and coach team members; align goals to strategic objectives
• Program manage and coordinate tech initiatives within the learning ecosystem
• Work in agile environments; track backlog in Trello
• Lead project management activities and provide timely information to team and stakeholders
• Maintain plans, records, spreadsheets, trackers and databases
• Create high-quality documentation and meeting notes
• Manage and drive data analysis; communicate to stakeholders
• Anticipate risks, resolve issues and take corrective action
• Communicate insights to diverse audiences; use Bain templates for dissemination
• Provide input for stakeholder communication and engagement
• Share progress updates with team and stakeholders

Key requirements

• 5+ years in learning technology (LMS, eLearning authoring software, content management systems)
• Experience with learning standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI) and data analysis for continuous improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Experience with external content or technology providers; line management experience
• Docebo LMS and headless LMS experience
• AI platform/tool integrations experience
• SQL or relational database management
• Global company experience and stakeholder management
• Proven track record with learning technology implementations and operations
• AI usage in learning technology context
• Planning and organizing with ability to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication
