Overview

In this role, you will shape executive pay strategies for FTSE Main Market and AIM clients within Deloitte’s Executive Compensation team. You’ll work with senior staff to design remuneration approaches, model incentive outcomes, and implement cash and equity plans while navigating tax and regulatory considerations. You’ll engage with boards, investors, and cross-functional groups to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions. Responsibilities

  • Design executive pay strategies aligned with corporate performance
  • Advise on performance measures for incentive plans and model outcomes
  • Support implementation of cash and equity-based incentive plans including tax, accounting and funding considerations
  • Draft Directors’ Remuneration Reports
  • Engage in investor relations work with institutional investors
  • Prepare or review remuneration committee papers
  • Benchmark executive and non-executive director pay
  • Support proposals and business development activities

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in executive compensation, including leadership roles for FTSE Main Market and AIM clients
  • Deep technical knowledge of executive remuneration and UK directors remuneration reporting regulations
  • Experience in winning, developing and maintaining client relationships in a consulting environment
  • Professional, proactive client service mindset
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication suitable for client-facing work
