Field CNC Service Engineer

Overview

As a Field CNC Service Engineer, you will travel across the Midlands and Southern England to service, repair and commission CNC machinery at customer sites. You’ll provide technical support, perform preventive maintenance, fault-find, and assist with installations, working closely with customers to ensure equipment reliability. This role combines hands-on engineering with field-based problem solving and customer liaison, offering impact across installation, maintenance and service operations. You will be part of a customer-focused team delivering high-quality CNC solutions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across the region
• Provide technical support to customers
• Perform PPM and scheduled maintenance on CNC machines
• Fault finding and repairs on CNC equipment
• Assist with machine installations as needed

Key requirements

• Previous experience in a field-based service engineer role
• CNC machinery experience is essential
• Knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controls
• Clean and valid UK driving licence
• Team player
