Finance Transformation Principal Consultant

Overview

In this Finance Transformation Principal Consultant role, you will guide large-scale finance and procurement transformations for public and private sector clients. You’ll shape strategy, operating models, and digital-enabled delivery, partnering with cross-functional teams to realise benefits and embed change. The work spans strategy through benefits realisation, including ERP selections and shared services initiatives. You’ll operate in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment that values innovation and impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support finance strategy development, operating model design, process and system design, and transformation planning for clients and PA teams
• Oversee finance process and system developments and implementations, including vendor and Systems Integrator oversight
• Direct teams to optimise finance processes with digital capabilities (Oracle Fusion Cloud, SAP S4 HANA, Microsoft D365) and AI technologies
• Provide client-side advisory across the full transformation lifecycle
• Support change management, employee engagement, training, and benefits realisation

Key requirements

• Experience in Finance transformation programmes or Finance performance improvement projects
• Strong consulting skills and stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of Finance platforms (Oracle, SAP, MS D365 or similar)
• Ability to work across sectors and adapt to varied client environments
• Experience in Finance process and systems design, data migration, and reporting strategy
