Overview

In this AI Engineer role you design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions for a professional services environment. You will work within a growing AI function to accelerate AI adoption, deliver agentic AI, and automate business processes while ensuring governance and security. You’ll partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with strong engineering foundations and a focus on real-world outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI-powered applications using LLMs and modern AI frameworks
  • Build and deploy agentic AI solutions to automate workflows and enhance business processes
  • Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and semantic search
  • Design and implement AI orchestration pipelines using LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or similar
  • Integrate AI with enterprise applications, APIs and automation platforms
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI-driven improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to internal AI tools to improve operational efficiency and client delivery
  • Support AI governance, responsible AI practices, security controls and identity management
  • Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure and production-ready
  • Help establish best practices around testing, monitoring and evaluation of AI systems

Key requirements

  • Commercial experience building AI, Generative AI or Agentic AI solutions
  • Strong software engineering skills with Python, .NET or similar
  • Experience with Large Language Models and AI services (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude)
  • Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI)
  • Experience deploying cloud-native applications (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Strong understanding of APIs, system integration and modern software development practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
