Overview
In this role you will lead a portfolio of civils and water projects in South Wales, guiding multi-disciplinary teams from preconstruction through delivery. You’ll ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance while managing costs and schedules. You will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and design teams to optimise delivery across a major civils framework. This is a strategic leadership position within a growing regional operation with a strong emphasis on safety, programme delivery, and client relationships.

Responsibilities
- Manage site staff, operatives and subcontractors
- Prepare and monitor programmes of work
- Produce method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans
- Monitor contract costs against budgets
- Oversee design coordination
- Engage and assess subcontractors
- Administer contract changes
- Inform and involve local groups as necessary
- Foster client relations and ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance across projects
Key requirements
- Relevant industry qualification (HND/ HNC/ BEng) or equivalent
- Up-to-date SMSTS qualification
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- First Aid at Work qualification desirable
