Overview
In this role you shape secure transformation for telecom clients, translating security requirements into enterprise architectures and guiding security program delivery. You’ll apply architecture frameworks and risk-centric thinking to align IT, networks, and operations with business goals. You work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable solutions that meet regulatory and industry standards. This is a strategic, impact-driven consulting position with a focus on Zero Trust, secure-by-design practices, and end-to-end control architectures.

Responsibilities
- Translate security requirements and regulatory conditions into enterprise security architecture patterns during systems development lifecycle stages
- Define strategic, tactical, and operational security architecture options across IT, network, and security domains
- Review client requirements and use cases to ensure alignment with business mission and risk posture
- Oversee documentation, validation, assessment, and authorisation related to information security
- Conduct discovery and audits to extract findings and recommendations
- Facilitate adoption of cyber/technology security control frameworks (NIST/ISO/ISF/COBIT) for solutions
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in security domains (e.g., PAM/IAM, Cloud, IoT, Threat Profiling) and promote Secure by Design and Zero Trust concepts
- Architect end-to-end controls across application, systems, and infrastructure in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments
- Coordinate with stakeholders across enterprises and delivery partners to shape security solutions
Key requirements
- Telecoms environment experience
- Multi-year client-facing project and presentation experience in a professional services setting
- Strong ability to perform under pressure with a proactive delivery mindset
- Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills across varied stakeholder levels
- Ability to engage Enterprise Architects, business leaders, and technologists
- Ongoing pursuit or attainment of architectural/security qualifications (e.g., Open CA, TOGAF, SABSA, CCSK, CCSP, CNDA)
- Willingness to hold or obtain required vetting certifications for public sector engagements (e.g., defence vetting)
