Senior BMS Engineer – Tridium Systems

Overview

In this role you will install, commission and maintain Honeywell BMS across London and surrounding areas, providing proactive maintenance and rapid reactive support. You will work on projects and small automation initiatives, modifying software and strategies to optimize energy use and building performance. You will build strong client relationships, communicate clearly, and operate within health and safety standards. This position offers field-based work with travel and opportunities to influence building operations at scale.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installations and quoted works on BMS projects
• Provide project support and commissioning of small automation and controls projects
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive/out-of-hours support
• Operate, maintain and interrogate Honeywell BMS controllers & field control systems
• Modify and interrogate BMS software programs, strategies and systems
• Monitor and adjust energy-saving measures across building services
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations at client sites
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to customers

Key requirements

• Experience with BMS systems and controls
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
• Proficiency with Niagara framework
• Experience with BACnet, M-Bus and Modbus protocols
• Awareness of Health and Safety and risk assessments
• Ability to troubleshoot and fault-find on complex systems
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and customer relationships
