Overview

In this role you partner across a complex organisation to translate business needs into practical solutions as part of a major transformation programme, initially focusing on the transition to IFS Cloud. You will map and improve processes, facilitate workshops, and ensure changes deliver business value. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and align initiatives with strategic objectives. This is a hands-on partner role that shapes how the business operates and leverages digital transformation to create value.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted stakeholder relationships to understand operational challenges and opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to capture requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and process documentation
  • Bridge between business teams and technical specialists to ensure solutions meet requirements
  • Map current and future-state processes across multiple functions
  • Identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation and standardisation
  • Recommend and support implementation of improved ways of working
  • Support delivery of technology and business change initiatives including transition to IFS Cloud
  • Review processes and assess readiness for new systems and technologies
  • Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments and process validation
  • Support testing, UAT and change adoption across the business
  • Help establish governance for prioritising change requests
  • Evaluate business value, impact, and feasibility of proposed developments
  • Create documentation, workflows and decision-making frameworks for prioritisation
  • Develop process documentation, user guides and knowledge resources
  • Support training material creation and delivery for new processes and systems
  • Promote consistent ways of working and drive user adoption
  • Collaborate with support teams for knowledge transfer and continuous improvement

Key requirements

  • Proven BA experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
  • BCS Foundation and Practitioner Certification (or equivalent)
  • Strong requirements elicitation skills with workshops and interviews
  • Experience producing artefacts: BRDs, process maps, EPICs, user stories, acceptance criteria
  • Process mapping and improvement experience; MS Visio knowledge
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
  • Experience supporting system implementations or digital transformation
  • Ability to analyse complex processes and identify efficiency and standardisation opportunities
  • Self-starter with ownership, prioritisation, and delivery focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
