Overview
In this role you will support and drive health, safety, environment and quality across multiple civil engineering sites in the South West. You will work with delivery teams to embed best practices, perform site inspections and implement improvements to the HSEQ framework. You’ll develop training and update policies to raise safety standards across the portfolio. The position appeals to proactive professionals who want to shape a strong safety culture within a growing contractor. This is a home-based role with regional site travel and a competitive package.

Responsibilities
- Visit and integrate with delivery teams on various sites
- Provide operational SHEQ support across the region
- Conduct site inspections
- Drive continual HSEQ improvements across the company
- Create and manage a training matrix to develop employees
- Revamp policies and procedures to improve best practice
- Lead Health & Safety across the site portfolio
Key requirements
- NEBOSH-qualified (preferably Diploma)
- Experience in Civil Engineering projects (essential)
- Knowledge of safety, health & environmental legislation and current construction practices
- Able to engage with site teams and work autonomously
