Overview
In this role, you will design, build, and operate network and datacenter infrastructure to enable high-performance trading. You will collaborate with the Shared Engineering team and cross-functional groups to scale global infrastructure. You will simplify complex systems, automate operations, and perform root-cause analyses of outages. You will work with cutting-edge technology and be willing to push beyond your comfort zone in a collaborative, open culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop network and datacenter infrastructure with consistent, straightforward designs
- Support high-performance trading by addressing outages and expanding global infrastructure

Key requirements
- Strong network engineering and architecture skills
- Knowledge of switch internals, Ethernet, IP routing, VPN, tunneling, routing protocols, firewall configuration, and debugging
- Proficiency in network automation, management, and monitoring through API transports
- Ability to write code beyond scripting, particularly in Python or Go
- Identifying and mitigating network risks and issues
- Comfortable with the Linux command line
- Proven ability to handle complex projects with minimal oversight
