Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor with a well-established regional main contractor, you will drive commercial delivery on high-end residential projects, including new builds, refurbishments and extensions in Oxfordshire. You will operate autonomously across multiple schemes, ensuring cost control and robust contract administration within a diverse client base. The role offers exposure to luxury projects and heritage works within public and private sectors, contributing to the firm’s ongoing growth in the region. You will collaborate with site teams and clients to shape profitable, well-managed projects that meet quality and schedule expectations.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage commercial activities on multiple projects (high-end residential, refurbishment, alterations)
• Maintain cost control and financial reporting for projects
• Support contract administration and procurement with suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets and quality requirements
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and risk

Key requirements

• Ideally degree qualified
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a reputable Main Contractor
• Experience on both new build and refurbishment projects preferred
• Track record in high-end residential sector preferred
• Full UK Drivers’ license with ability to commute to Oxford daily
