Trading Operations Specialist

Overview

In this role you support a London-based trading desk within a 24/7 global Ops team at a leading quant prop trader. You’ll blend operational execution with technology to back steady alpha generation, working closely with traders and software engineers. Your focus includes settlements, confirmations, and corporate actions, while driving automation to improve workflow. This is a hands-on role on the desk with meaningful impact on execution and risk control. You’ll join a fast-paced, performance-driven environment that values innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Settlements support
• Trade reconciliations
• Trade confirmations
• Automation projects
• Corporate actions handling and entitlements
• Collaboration with traders to support execution
• Non-equity product capture (fixed income and FX)

Key requirements

• 2 years in settlement operations in an equities trading environment (buy side preferred)
• Background in European equities
• Experience with front office and senior management in an active trading environment
• Proficiency in VBA, SQL, Python (automation experience welcomed)
• Advanced Excel skills
