Technical Presales Specialist

Overview

In this role you will design and configure technology solutions for customers, supporting sales with bill of materials and recommendations. You will demonstrate expertise across the HPE Data Centre, networking and security portfolios while engaging with partners and internal teams. You help customers through technical inquiries and ensure high-quality service, leveraging vendor tools and maintaining certifications. The position sits in the HPE technical team and offers growth into a trusted technical specialist, with a culture that values collaboration, accountability, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure technology solutions to meet customer requirements
• Support sales with BOMs and solution recommendations
• Demonstrate expertise across HPE Datacentre, networking and security portfolios
• Respond to technical inquiries from colleagues, partners, and customers
• Provide high level customer service while meeting service standards
• Use internal and vendor tools to build accurate technical solutions
• Build knowledge of vendor products, technologies, and promotions
• Support partner enablement and drive solution adoption
• Maintain technical documentation and resolver group ownership
• Build relationships with vendor technical teams and industry contacts
• Maintain/gain HPE industry-recognised vendor accreditations and certifications
• Gain exposure to implementation and post-sales technical services
