Site Manager (No.1) (Main Contractor Special Works) | 45,000 – 50,000 + package | Permanent | Oxford

Overview

In this role you will lead on-site delivery for refurbishment and extension projects within the Special Works Team. You will work within a family-owned, client-focused main contractor to manage education, historic, healthcare, and other sectors, delivering value from 50k to 1.5m projects. You will coordinate on-site operations, safety, and stakeholders to ensure timely, quality outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape refurbishment programs within a reputable, growth-minded contractor.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery for refurbishment and extension projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and interfaces with clients
• Ensure project compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain project programmes and budgets within defined values
• Liaise with stakeholders to manage client expectations and project scope

Key requirements

• Track record as No.1 on site for a reputable Main Contractor
• Experience in Special Works is advantageous
• Experience on commercial projects up to 1.5m in value
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
• Daily commuting ability to Oxford
