As Mechanical Construction Manager, you lead the on-site mechanical package for a Central London data centre, steering installation, testing, and handover. Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical subcontractors across HVAC, pipework, and specialist systems
• Coordinate all on-site mechanical activities with project and client teams
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and safety plans
• Monitor labour, progress, and programme milestones
• Manage delivery, storage, and installation of plant and equipment
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards on site
• Maintain strong client communication and reporting throughout the project

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical construction management
• Background in data centres, pharma, cleanrooms, or other complex projects
• Strong planning, coordination, and leadership skills
• Proven track record managing subcontractor teams and multiple systems
• Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements
• Based in or able to commute to Central London
