MOL (Maintenance of Line) Mechanical Engineer

Overview

In this role you contribute to the Linx portfolio by driving Maintenance of Line activities that improve quality, reliability and cost efficiency. You collaborate across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Service and Engineering to deliver robust mechanical solutions for mass-produced components. You lead multiple concurrent projects from problem identification through validation, emphasizing manufacturability and obsolescence management. This position offers hands-on development, cross-functional teamwork and impact on customer experience and product sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maintenance of Line projects on time to support quality, reliability, manufacturability, supply continuity and cost reduction
• Lead investigations and implement solutions for product quality issues, shortages, supplier challenges and obsolescence
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Service and Engineering to drive improvements and uninterrupted support of the Linx portfolio
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from problem identification to implementation and validation
• Develop robust mechanical solutions using mass-production techniques (plastic mouldings, sheet metal) and designs optimized for manufacture and assembly
• Continuously improve engineering tools, systems and processes (CAD, PDM, FEA, change management)
• Act as a technical specialist for mechanical engineering within a professional and safe environment
