FP&A Analyst, Commercial

Overview

In this role you will deliver data-driven analytics to support short- and long-term business planning for Index’s Commercial team. You’ll partner with senior leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable actions to hit financial and operational targets. You’ll own the Net Revenue forecast and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive revenue and performance. You’ll collaborate across global teams, leveraging Looker, SQL, Python, and Salesforce to produce clear, timely reporting and insights. This is a fast-paced, growth-minded position at a trusted ad-tech leader.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven insights to leadership by sourcing and analysing internal data to inform decisions and growth opportunities
• Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to highlight risks/opportunities and support strategic choices
• Analyse performance against plan and identify key drivers of variance to inform actions
• Prepare and report monthly financial and non-financial performance to executive teams on a reliable schedule
• Own the Net Revenue forecast using data-driven modelling for budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
• Support revenue growth and operational improvements through initiatives using internal systems and reporting tools
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through collaboration and customer-centric communication
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects and share best practices across teams

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting with 2–3+ years relevant experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Looker, SQL or similar tools highly preferred
• Ability to research, interpret data, and translate it into clear insights for stakeholders
• Comfort with ambiguity and a self-starter mentality to define and implement new processes
• Project management experience and the ability to drive progress and accountability
• Ability to tell a compelling data-driven story and present insights to business stakeholders
• Experience in collaborating with global teams and cross-functional partners
