In this role you will deliver cost consultancy across acquisition to final accounts for residential-led regeneration schemes. You will work within a growing, collaborative team that handles high-profile projects for private developers. You’ll apply cost control, planning and procurement to optimise budgets and deliver value. Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients, internal cost consultants and project managers from acquisition to final accounts
- Execute cost control, planning, estimates and procurement activities
- Lead negotiation and contract preparation
- Engage with supply chain partners
- Perform budget reconciliations and cost reporting
- Manage contractor payments
Key requirements
- 3+ years’ UK QS/Cost Consultant experience
- Cost planning to final accounts
- Background in main contractor or consultancy
- MRICS/MCIOB or working towards (preferred)
- Experience serving private sector clients
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Passion for the construction industry
