Senior Finance Manager

Overview

In this High-visibility Senior Finance Manager role, you partner with the Finance Director and senior leadership to drive strategic financial planning and value creation in a capital-intensive renewable energy and infrastructure business. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, treasury, investment analysis, and project finance while shaping M&A and capital allocation decisions. This role blends hands-on finance with strategic influence, offering a clear path toward Finance Director. You will work across stakeholders, lenders, and advisers to transform finance and support growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities
• Develop financial models and conduct investment analysis
• Oversee project finance, funding activities and capital structures
• Drive M&A activity, due diligence, and transaction support
• Guide capital allocation and commercial decision-making
• Deliver financial reporting and performance analysis
• Lead finance transformation, automation and process improvements
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, investors, lenders and advisers
• Partner with Finance Director and senior leadership to challenge, influence and drive value

Key requirements

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Experience at Senior Finance Manager or Finance Manager level
• Background in renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance, private equity, or other capital-intensive environments
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and cash flow analysis
• Experienced in M&A, transactions, financing or investment analysis
• Commercial mindset with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Desire to progress toward Finance Director role
