Senior Delivery Lead

Overview

In this Senior Delivery Lead role, you drive end-to-end data and AI transformation programs for strategic clients, aligning delivery with business goals and executive expectations. You lead multi-stream teams, govern complex engagements, and own financial performance to maximize value and margins. You’ll partner with client and technical leadership to shape roadmaps, design operating models, and ensure high client satisfaction. This is a high-impact role for someone who enables large enterprises to unlock ROI through transformation and robust delivery governance.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic alignment of technical delivery roadmaps with client strategy to achieve measurable business outcomes
• Own large transformation programmes across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality
• Manage executive stakeholder communications and governance to maintain trust and satisfaction
• Lead and mentor delivery teams, improve program management processes, and enable scalable delivery capabilities
• Oversee pre-sales and commercial activities including SOW creation, deal structuring, and scope management to protect margins
• Manage account health, renewals, upsell opportunities, and RAID risks across portfolios
• Take financial ownership of P&L, budgeting, forecasting revenue, and resource burn to drive profitability
• Apply Agile, hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate for enterprise environments and act as a change agent within client organisations

Key requirements

• Experience in a consulting, Big Four, technical consultancy, or software vendor focusing on enterprise transformation
• Proven track record managing large-scale data and/or AI transformation programs (multi-year, multi-million-dollar scope)
• Strong pre-sales and commercial experience including SOW creation and deal structuring
• Excellent executive stakeholder management and ability to translate complex roadmaps into business terms
• Financial management expertise including forecasting and P&L tracking for professional services
• Deep understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery in enterprise data programs
• Certifications in Agile Project Management, Prince2, or Scrum
• Experience with JIRA or similar ITSM tools
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
