Overview

As a Staff Engineer, you will help shape the technology strategy and build scalable, high-performance solutions on the Microsoft stack. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to uphold engineering standards and deliver quality software on schedule. You’ll actively drive AI initiatives across the business, from chatbots to automation, while benefiting from strong visibility and direct influence with the CTO. The role blends hands-on development with technical leadership in a growth-focused FinTech scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Shape technology strategy and architecture for scalable systems
• Lead design and implementation across C#/.NET and relevant Microsoft stack
• Champion engineering best practices and technical standards
• Deliver high-quality software on schedule in cross-functional Agile teams
• Drive AI adoption initiatives (e.g., chatbots, automation) across the business
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and other stakeholders to influence technical direction
• Engage in planning and problem solving with strong analysis and organization skills

Key requirements

• Strong C# backend development skills
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with AWS
• Experience building highly scalable systems
• Strong CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns)
